About the role
- Lead and streamline the monthly close process
- Prepare accurate, timely financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
- Reconcile key accounts: cash, AR/AP, payroll, and intercompany
- Build dashboards and reporting tools that provide leadership with clear, actionable insights
- Define and track metrics and KPIs that measure business performance in real time
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Collaborate with operations and department heads to analyze costs, margins, and performance by product, customer, and location
- Prepare for and manage multi-entity consolidation, including upcoming acquisitions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or MBA preferred
- 6 to 9 years of progressive finance and accounting experience with time as Controller or Finance Director
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SaaS/hardware revenue recognition, and multi-entity financial structures
- Experience in a SaaS, recurring revenue, or tech-enabled services environment is preferred
- Experience in PE-backed, investor-facing, or acquisitive companies is a plus
- Proficiency with accounting systems, reporting tools, and Excel/Power BI-level analysis
