About the role

  • Lead and streamline the monthly close process
  • Prepare accurate, timely financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
  • Reconcile key accounts: cash, AR/AP, payroll, and intercompany
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools that provide leadership with clear, actionable insights
  • Define and track metrics and KPIs that measure business performance in real time
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Collaborate with operations and department heads to analyze costs, margins, and performance by product, customer, and location
  • Prepare for and manage multi-entity consolidation, including upcoming acquisitions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • 6 to 9 years of progressive finance and accounting experience with time as Controller or Finance Director
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, SaaS/hardware revenue recognition, and multi-entity financial structures
  • Experience in a SaaS, recurring revenue, or tech-enabled services environment is preferred
  • Experience in PE-backed, investor-facing, or acquisitive companies is a plus
  • Proficiency with accounting systems, reporting tools, and Excel/Power BI-level analysis
