About the role

  • Correspondence with DIY stores across Germany and with (inter)national suppliers
  • Preparation and follow-up of product delistings/assortment removals
  • Active role in annual supplier meetings – both in terms of content and organization
  • Preparation of supplier analyses and assortment evaluations
  • Close collaboration with various departments (Import team, assortment controlling, executive management)
  • Organization of working groups and ensuring everything runs smoothly before and after meetings

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in business administration
  • Initial experience in purchasing or in the industry is a plus but not required – career starters are welcome
  • Analytical and conceptual way of working
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Sales aptitude
  • Willingness to travel
  • Communication skills in English
  • Proficiency with common MS Office tools
