About the role
- Correspondence with DIY stores across Germany and with (inter)national suppliers
- Preparation and follow-up of product phase-outs and assortment adjustments
- Active role in annual supplier meetings/negotiations
- Preparing supplier analyses and assortment evaluations
- Close collaboration with various departments (Import team, assortment controlling, executive management)
- Organizing various working groups and ensuring smooth processes before and after meetings
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training or a degree in business administration
- Initial experience in purchasing or the industry is advantageous but not required; graduates and career starters are welcome
- Analytical and conceptual approach to work
- Strong organizational skills, team orientation, and a sales-driven mindset
- Willingness to travel and confident communication in English
- Good knowledge of common MS Office tools (especially Excel)
