About the role
- Acting as the Category Manager’s representative for the assortment area
- Close collaboration with executive management, import and assortment controlling
- Independently conducting purchasing negotiations and annual supplier reviews with national and international suppliers
- Point of contact for DIY stores across Germany
- Responsible for the development and implementation of product presentation concepts
- Supporting the development of print and online marketing strategies
- Participating in decision-making on assortment development, pricing and logistics
- Organizing working groups on various topics
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in business administration
- Initial experience in purchasing or in the industry is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational skills
- Confident presence and appearance
- Excellent communication skills and tact
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to communicate in English
- Proficient with MS Office tools
