About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for developing and keeping the system test strategy up to date; creating the artifacts necessary for test execution; maintaining test scripts and artifacts current; tracking the development of requests from their conception, anticipating all actions required for correct test execution and supporting the implementation of quality practices throughout the development lifecycle; validating deliverables produced by development teams; planning and executing tests (functional and non-functional) according to each request’s needs; mapping and updating the critical path of CAIXA applications; supporting user acceptance activities led by the business owner; promoting continuous improvement of CAIXA applications’ quality by working together with the Certification team designated by CAIXA; ensuring traceability (vertical, horizontal and/or bidirectional) to preserve relationships between test products and other artifacts such as requirements, source code, and others, maintaining integrity among these elements; managing and generating test data to ensure that the data required for executing tests in systems and their interfaces is available; managing environments by creating, configuring, maintaining and aligning environments for development and testing, thereby adding quality to IT deliveries.
  • Maintain the entire structure that composes the tests for involved systems in execution, such as test data, scripts, artifacts, simulators, routines and business processes of the systems; b) Test management and planning, with the ability to produce basic test documentation such as strategy, plans, test cases and test scripts; c) Knowledge of test management tools, defect management, test automation, test data generation and virtualized interfaces; d) Create scripts in specific tools, automated and non-automated, as well as execute them, recording and analyzing results; e) Execute acceptance, compatibility, regression, integration, functional and non-functional tests (exploratory, connectivity, vulnerability, stress and load) according to the needs of each request (based on impact analysis or as defined by CAIXA); f) Build mocks, stubs and/or simulators to enable test execution; g) Evaluate a system’s non-functional performance requirements using specific tools and monitors; h) Monitor and track test coverage levels of systems, promoting increased coverage whenever necessary; i) Log defects found after test execution, linking them to the relevant work products; j) Evaluate the results of each test cycle; k) Support managers and responsible teams in system request homologation; l) Understand requirement notations in agile and traditional development models; m) Be able to create tests based on business scenarios; Clicksign 982e0c61-cbdf-4f08-99a1-c65a43aec050 ARP Nº 161/2025 SICLG 61193 LC 210/2024- CECOT 95/137 n) Be able to design tests based on experience and defects; o) Understand the operation of systems under test; p) Develop software test scenarios; q) Identify common software defects and failures; r) Understand business, requirements, programming and testing to act as co-responsible for the entire development cycle; s) Assist the Product Owner in writing acceptance criteria for backlog stories; t) Support the Product Owner in accepting sprint stories; u) Assist in writing automated unit tests; v) Perform ATDD, BDD and/or Specification by Example; w) Maintain system cycles (active homologation) in defined environments, including daily, monthly, batch routines and interfaces; x) Knowledge of software failure modes and testing techniques; y) Be able to plan/execute tests to align the discipline’s scope with available time; z) Have knowledge to perform Security Testing and validations, being able to identify security vulnerabilities and propose system improvements; aa) Be able to evaluate the most common security aspects indicated by the OWASP organization (https://www.owasp.org/); bb) Be able to evaluate a system’s non-functional performance requirements using specific tools and monitors; cc) Be able to use specialized tools for automation, performance testing and for planning, managing and executing tests; dd) Experience producing basic test documentation such as Test Plans, Test Scripts, Evidence and Test Data; ee) Be able to create scripts in specialized tools and work with automated execution using variable data pools; ff) Identify target test items to be evaluated by the testing effort; gg) Evaluate the result of each test cycle; hh) Maintain system cycles in CAIXA laboratory environments; ii) Maintain daily, monthly, batch routines and interfaces; jj) Knowledge of test management tools, bug tracking and test automation tools; kk) Experience in Test Management and Planning; ll) Be able to evaluate a system’s non-functional performance requirements using specific tools and monitors.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree completed in one of the following areas: Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering or other Information Technology fields; OR a university degree in any area plus a specialization in Information Technology.
  • Hold at least one of the certifications below, or an equivalent:
  • ATC – Certified Test Analyst from IBQTS (Instituto Brasileiro de Qualidade em Testes de Software).
  • CBTS – Brazilian Software Testing Certification from ALATS (Associação Latino Americana de Teste de Software) or equivalent or similar certifications.
  • CTFL – Certified Tester Foundation Level (ISTQB Foundation Level).
  • CTFL-AT – Certified Tester Foundation Level - Agile Tester (BSTQB or ISTQB).
