About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for managing configuration and changes in existing systems and in development projects for new solutions;
Creation of baselines;
Verifying naming standards and organization of configuration items in the Configuration Management tool;
Configuration and change control for products delivered to the client;
Ensure developers adhere to configuration management policies and procedures;
Assist in creating and controlling current versions (for use in case of version rollback);
Assist the team responsible for raising Change Requests by presenting the elements to be used during deployment;
Perform project monitoring and control;
Maintain the Configuration Management Plan;
Provide system installation in the Production environment;

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or hold a completed higher education degree accompanied by a postgraduate certificate (specialization, master's or doctorate) in Information Technology of at least 360 hours.
Understand the principles of configuration management and preferably have experience or at least some training in the use of Configuration Management tools.
Strong attention to detail regarding system/application configurations.
Knowledge and experience in Continuous Integration.
Experience with version control tools: ClearCase (Base and UCM), Subversion and GIT (basic to intermediate level), and CA ENDEVOR (mainframe environment).
Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools: Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus.
