About the role

  • Responsible for managing configuration and changes in existing systems (CAIXA business solution) and in projects for developing new solutions, including creation of baselines, verification of naming conventions and organization of configuration items in the Configuration Management tool, as well as control of configuration and changes of products delivered to CAIXA.
  • Provide support to product development activities so that developers and integrators have appropriate workspaces to create and test their work, thereby ensuring that all work products are available for controlled inclusion in the deployment environment when requested or as needed. The professional must also ensure these environments facilitate product review and change- and defect-control tasks. Also responsible for recording the CM Plan and reporting progress statistics based on change controls, as well as performing and maintaining configuration audits of produced software (business applications).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering or other Information Technology areas; OR Bachelor's degree in any field plus a specialization in Information Technology.
  • Knowledge and experience in the principles and discipline of Configuration Management.
  • Knowledge and experience in Continuous Integration.
  • Experience with version control tools: ClearCase (Base and UCM), Subversion and Git (lower/mid-tier platforms) and CA Endevor (mainframe environment).
  • Experience with continuous integration tools: Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus*, ADS (Azure DevOps Server)*.
  • Knowledge of patterns for parallel development.
