About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide project management and consulting support for client engagements on carbon registry-specific deliverables
Maintaining an up-to-date and working knowledge of applicable carbon standards’ registry requirements
Maintain an up-to-date and working knowledge of carbon standards’ associated methodologies and tools
Advance C4SW’s initiative of the Carbon Aggregator Platform (CAP)
Design and develop procedures, best practices, and training for internal and client use
Support the evaluation and quantification of carbon credit economics
Engage with external stakeholders, including regulators, partners, verification bodies, vendors, and industry partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in engineering, natural science, sustainability, economics or similar quantitative field
Minimum of four years' work experience in carbon credit project development/implementation or WASH/SDW project management
Specific project management experience with voluntary carbon credit processes and methodologies under Clean Development Mechanism, Gold Standard, and/or Verra
Experience with project-level work, preferably in WASH sector, especially monitoring, evaluation, and learning
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate data
Proficiency in data and project management tools, accounting principles, and emission reduction calculation methodologies
Coding experience using statistical software such as R, Python, or SAS would be a definite plus.
