About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide project management and consulting support for client engagements on carbon registry-specific deliverables
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and working knowledge of applicable carbon standards’ registry requirements
  • Maintain an up-to-date and working knowledge of carbon standards’ associated methodologies and tools
  • Advance C4SW’s initiative of the Carbon Aggregator Platform (CAP)
  • Design and develop procedures, best practices, and training for internal and client use
  • Support the evaluation and quantification of carbon credit economics
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including regulators, partners, verification bodies, vendors, and industry partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, natural science, sustainability, economics or similar quantitative field
  • Minimum of four years' work experience in carbon credit project development/implementation or WASH/SDW project management
  • Specific project management experience with voluntary carbon credit processes and methodologies under Clean Development Mechanism, Gold Standard, and/or Verra
  • Experience with project-level work, preferably in WASH sector, especially monitoring, evaluation, and learning
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate data
  • Proficiency in data and project management tools, accounting principles, and emission reduction calculation methodologies
  • Coding experience using statistical software such as R, Python, or SAS would be a definite plus.
