Key responsibilities & impact

Work on maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of existing features
Analyze legacy Delphi code and business rules implemented in the database
Support decoupling routines from the monolith
Propose technical improvements without compromising product stability
Implement bug fixes, improvements, and new features
Assist with technical documentation of business rules
Participate in technical and functional refinement sessions
Support investigations of incidents, performance issues, and business inconsistencies
Work collaboratively with QA, Product, Architecture, and other developers
Use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, analysis, and documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience in Delphi development
Experience maintaining, evolving, and refactoring legacy systems
Knowledge of relational databases, preferably SQL Server
Ability to analyze stored procedures, queries, data modeling, and business rules implemented in the database
Experience with Git
Experience with Jira or an equivalent issue-tracking tool
Ability to work with highly complex legacy code
Strong analytical skills to understand tax, accounting, labor, or other business rules
Experience fixing bugs, improving performance, and implementing functional enhancements
Good communication with product, QA, support, and architecture teams
Ability to document technical decisions and identified rules
Desirable: Knowledge or experience with .NET Core / C#
Desirable: Experience in modernization, migration, or monolith decoupling projects
Desirable: Experience with REST APIs
Desirable: Knowledge of software architecture, separation of concerns, and layering
Desirable: Experience with AI tools applied to development
