Define and execute an automation-first QA strategy with Cypress
Establish and enforce QA standards, test processes, and best practices across Agile teams
Lead quality initiatives across multiple Scrum teams, focusing on defect prevention and release confidence
Act as the primary quality advocate during sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness
Design, build, and maintain scalable Cypress automation frameworks for testing
Integrate Cypress test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
Oversee manual testing activities including exploratory testing, regression validation, and UAT
Ensure applications meet Section 508 / WCAG accessibility requirements
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and program leadership
Define and track quality metrics including Cypress automation coverage, defect trends, and test execution reliability

Requirements

7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including leadership roles
Extensive hands-on experience with Cypress or equivalent
Strong background in JavaScript / TypeScript–based test automation
Proven experience integrating Cypress or equivalent into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Docker)
Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum development practices
Experience testing APIs
Demonstrated ability to manage quality across multiple teams or products
