About the role
- You act as the right hand of the Product Owner and ensure that ideas and requirements become a clean, deliverable backlog.
- You keep teams, stakeholders and product work moving: bring clarity, remove friction.
- You work closely with the Product Owner (COO) and the development teams.
- Backlog & ticket quality: write user stories, define acceptance criteria, clarify dependencies and edge cases, remove duplicates, and make priorities visible.
- Prepare & facilitate refinements: gather topics in advance, clarify open questions, structure and document refinement sessions.
- Stakeholder intake & triage: collect requirements from Support/Sales/Operations, consolidate and pre-structure them, and prepare decision-ready summaries.
- Delivery support: accompany releases (release notes/changelog), coordinate internal communications, and make “what’s coming when” transparent.
- Quality & feedback loop: evaluate user feedback and support signals, and translate bugs/improvements into clear product work.
- Processes & tools: establish lightweight product processes (without overhead) and keep Jira/Confluence or similar tools well maintained.
Requirements
- Experience in a product environment (e.g., as a PO assistant, Product Ops, PM/PO, project lead, or Scrum Master with a strong product focus).
- Strong ability to turn unclear requirements into clear stories (including acceptance criteria).
- You can facilitate, prioritize, and say “no” — politely but firmly.
- Structure, ownership, accountability: you finish things, not just make them look good.
- Basic technical understanding to work with engineering on equal terms (no coding required).
- Fluent German, both written and spoken.
- Nice to have: experience in B2B SaaS / hospitality / retail / POS environments.
- Experience with analytics/product metrics or support processes.
- Knowledge of Scrum/Kanban (pragmatically applied).
Benefits
- Significant scope to shape your role and short decision paths.
- Products with real impact and clear user problems.
- Remote/hybrid options depending on setup, with flexible working hours.

- Training opportunities and career development.
- A fair and appropriate salary that reflects your qualifications and experience.
- 30 days of vacation to rest and recharge.
- Regular company events such as a summer party that focus on team spirit and shared fun.
- A motivated, friendly team that values and encourages collaboration and exchange.
