About the role

  • Define, lead, and promote the Oceania Sub-Region Taste & Wellbeing Business/Marketing Strategy
  • Set direction, identify growth opportunities and answer the question 'Where to Play' and 'How to Win' in collaboration with important partners
  • Work with regional marketing & innovation teams to identify platforms for market growth, ensuring its relation to specific Oceania customers
  • Develop proactive presentations to identify gaps, customer needs and support sales in driving inflow and opportunity growing pipelines
  • Partner with Sales Team to develop Marketing & Growth plans which differentiate Givaudan with Oceania customer base
  • Develop Annual Category Reviews and Plans to align and potentially course correct to 5 year strategy plans
  • Biannual review of market share by segment and by customer
  • Update and align Taste & Wellbeing Marketing and Sales Execution plans in partnership with Sales Leadership
  • Ongoing market analysis of consumer trends and Taste & Wellbeing platforms
  • Engage with the Oceania and regional partners to ensure that organisational performance and KPIs are achieved
  • Be the regional Taste & Wellbeing ambassador and Market liaison with Corporate communication partners

Requirements

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or other related areas
  • Minimum 6 years or more experience in B2B or B2C marketing strategy
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a wide range of portfolio/categories
  • Understanding of marketing strategy and principles (brand execution, new product commercialization, creative promotions)
  • People management experience is an added advantage
