Manage and grow accounts through top and bottom lines by generating new business opportunities and maturing existing partnerships.
Report to the Commercial Director GFI NOAM.
Strategic engagement: cultivate customer relationships with decision-makers, position as preferred supplier, participate in RFPs, briefs, and core supplier lists.
Deliver positive customer experience through innovation, collaboration, and service.
Lead and influence strategic account planning; develop comprehensive action plans for main accounts.
Analyze customer strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competitive data to understand customer potential.
Partner across Sales teams to ensure visibility and technical interface; maintain call frequency and follow up on customer inquiries.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements following company guidelines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Management, Marketing or Food Science.
4+ years' experience in sales, marketing or customer relationship experience in food or related industries.
Experience incorporating comprehensive knowledge and analysis in presentations.
Understanding of the ingredient industry, including consumer and industry trends to apply strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting to develop account plans.
Leverage GFI offerings to the customer strategies, programs, priorities, and product launch processes among all GFI pillars of Flavors, Essential Oils, and Aroma Chemicals.
