About the role

  • Assemble and manage the project team (internal, external resources).
  • Animate and coordinate the performance of the project team members.
  • Monitor project team performance and complete performance reviews (also for future use).
  • Coach, mentor and motivate project team (project managers/engineers).
  • Promote daily work of assigned strategic project (or phase) and manage project resources to drive a successful project delivery.
  • Prepare Project/Portfolio Plan and financial forecasts/estimates for all phases.
  • Deliver appropriate executive level communication to SteCo and stakeholders with regular status reporting, KPIs, project deliverables, dependencies and risks.
  • Manage Project and lead project portfolio according to the CapEx/PM processes.
  • Ensure adherence to Global, regional and local standards (EHS, Quality, IM&S, IM&T, ManEx/GPS, Innovation, Sustainability).
  • Drive selection of engineering suppliers and vendors together with IM&S, assisting negotiation and dispute management.
  • Facilitate and resolve conflicts among project team members and other stakeholders.
  • Provide consultation and participate Post Implementation Reviews.
  • Participate to the development of CapEx/PM standards when requested.
  • Initial signature on Contracts with external engineering suppliers.
  • Authorization of scope changes to Steering Committee.

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management certification (PMI, PRINCE2).
  • Fluent in English and (preferred) Spanish.
  • Experience leading large green/brown field projects (8+ years) preferably in food/chemical.
  • Experience mentoring.
  • Experience in complex/matrix organizations.
  • Experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Experience in contracts management and supplier selection processes.
  • Knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.
  • Solid knowledge of CapEx and related financial aspects.
  • User of MS Office tools.
  • User of PPM tools (preferably CA Clarity).
