About the role
- Develop and implement strategies to source the large spend and/or complex/business critical RM categories
- Lead & develop Category Managers, clear sourcing strategy, priority setting and resource optimization
- Act as the Procurement Business Partner Fragrance & Beauty for the Asian region
- Negotiate contracts globally
- Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and implement Scope 3 PCF reduction
- Communicate to suppliers any forthcoming changes in demand/specifications
- Ensure vendor performance at target levels
- Maintain close contact with GBS, Supply Chain, Regional Operations and Regional Sales
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- A degree in chemical engineering or organic chemistry is a plus
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Procurement and/or functional experience
- Knowledge of F&F/FMCG/Chemical industry
- Specific technical and market knowledge in the respective category
- International exposure in previous role
- Fluent in English, other languages a +
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Cultural awareness and adaptable to fast changing business requirements
- Passion for success with a high energy level
- Knowledge on the China market for Aroma Chemicals is a must
