About the role

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the vendor portfolio to identify opportunities for consolidation, preferred supplier selection, and cost optimization
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to validate and approve preferred suppliers based on predefinied criteria
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of vendor selections with organizational objectives
  • Identify suppliers suitable for deactivation or replacement by marketplaces based on low activity or spend
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of vendor data in SAP specially in terms of contact information and payment terms

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field
  • Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, or data analysis
  • Possess 3 years of experience and above in related field
  • Ability to speak in languages like Mandarin, Hindi or Japanese
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actional insights
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with procurement tools (e.g. SAP Ariba) is highly desirable
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with procurement teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaboration team
