About the role
- Coordinate all national logistics operations related to import, storage, and distribution of Fragrance and Beauty, ensuring inventory availability and compliance with customs, tax, and corporate regulations.
- Ensure that transportation, warehousing, and dispatch processes are carried out with a focus on customer service.
- Report to the Supply Chain Manager.
- Lead the process of the warehouse and distribution Centre with a 3PL supplier.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports, or customer issues.
- Design, deploy and maintain local logistics SOPs following corporate procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business processes.
- Analyze logistics to determine the most cost-efficient material flow.
- Establish models and metrics for logistics performance evaluation.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
- Work with site logistics organizations and suppliers to ensure import documentation requirements are understood.
- Advise on import compliance requirements and procedures.
Requirements
- University Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineer, International Trade.
- 4 to 5 years of experiences in Logistic National and Import processes.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in people management.
- Specialization in Supply Chain or Project Management.
- Fluent English.
- Knowledge of import, logistics, warehouse, and transportation supplier landscape.
- Proficiency in shipping and receiving regulations and protocols.
- Knowledge of local and international material/product safety/security norms and regulations.
