About the role
- Help implement Quality Assurance, GMP, and GDP strategies to ensure compliance, legality, and product safety.
- Lead and implement assigned quality assurance projects and internal audit programs, including managing CAPA processes.
- Review and maintain QMS documentation while providing interpretation of policies, standards, and quality requirements.
- Assess and audit external service providers, vendors, and contractors to ensure adherence to organizational quality standards.
- Provide quality-related and induction training to site staff, including coaching junior QA officers and auditors.
- Lead investigations into non-conformances and make batch release decisions for process deviations.
- Analyze quality and performance data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement approved corrective actions.
- Promote a quality culture across the site by working cross-functionally, engaging in floor walks, and participating in team meetings.
Requirements
- Vocational Diploma in a relevant technical field; a university degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar QA role, with 1–2 years of coaching or mentoring experience.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems principles (e.g., ISO 9001) and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using computer-based Management Systems.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, and related business processes.
- Lead change, form relationships, and lead quality and process improvement projects.
