About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates from architectural plans and specifications
Assist with budgeting and preconstruction planning
Coordinate subcontractor bid requests and pricing
Review drawings, finish schedules, and project documentation
Update estimates and manage revisions or change orders
Maintain estimating data within JobTread or similar construction management software
Assist with scope development and project costing
Collaborate remotely with U.S.-based project managers and company leadership
Produce accurate and well-organized estimates
Communicate clearly and consistently with the team
Deliver work with minimal errors or scope gaps
Continuously improve estimating processes and workflows

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, or preconstruction
Experience with JobTread, Buildertrend, Procore, CoConstruct, or similar construction software
Strong Microsoft Excel and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent written and spoken English
High attention to detail with strong follow-through
Reliable high-speed internet and a professional home office
Availability to overlap several hours with U.S. business hours
Residential remodeling or custom home construction experience preferred
Luxury residential or high-end remodeling experience preferred
Experience managing change orders preferred
Material procurement or purchasing support preferred
Project coordination or Assistant Project Manager experience preferred
Previous experience working remotely for a U.S.-based construction company preferred
