About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define global market research priorities
- Conduct primary research with physicians, patients, and payers
- Analyze survey results to understand key market insights
- Develop and maintain long-term forecast models for marketed and pipeline products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform revenue forecasting
- Provide actionable recommendations to therapeutic areas on commercial strategy decisions
- Present and lead discussion of results in a collaborative manner
- Work with group leadership to improve the efficiency of Pipeline Marketing Sciences
Requirements
What you’ll need- 14+ years relevant experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or consulting
- BS degree (or higher) in finance, life sciences or medicine (or equivalent) is required
- MBA, Ph.D. in Life Sciences, or M.D. is desirable
- experience conducting, analyzing, and communicating qualitative and quantitative market research
- proven business leader with a track record of influencing cross-functional partners
- demonstrated ability to lead a team of high-level individual contributors
- experience in patient-based market/revenue modeling
- strong task management skills, planning, prioritization, objective setting, and meeting management
- history of working and delivering on multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- strong ability to use Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint and Excel)
