About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive US pricing policy strategy and enterprise positioning in response to the IRA and evolving federal policy landscape
- Direct quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess pricing reform impacts and inform senior leadership decision-making
- Provide insights on CMS pricing methodologies, outcomes, and external benchmarks to guide strategy and governance
- Evaluate policy impacts across in-line products, pipeline assets, and business development opportunities
- Shape and advance the company’s federal policy agenda on drug pricing and the value of medicines
- Strengthen analytical capabilities, including adoption of advanced analytics and AI-enabled approaches
- Enhance governance, processes, and operating models to improve execution and decision-making in partnership with leadership.
- Drive end-to-end analytical readiness, project management, and execution for the Medicare price negotiation (IRA price-setting) process, including development of manufacturer submissions to CMS.
- Assess the impact of IRA price-setting on in-line products, pipeline assets, and potential business development opportunities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, public policy, or related sectors or master's degree with 12 years of related experience
- Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MD, PhD, MPP, MA, MBA)
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities, including ability to interpret complex policy and economic data
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to distill complex topics for policy and executive audiences
- Demonstrated project management expertise, with the ability to manage multiple high-profile, complex workstreams simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to accuracy and technical detail
- Proven ability to lead through influence in a highly matrixed environment, including oversight of cross-functional and high-impact initiatives
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to independently manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities
- Strong ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and strong overall business communication skills
- Personal attributes include integrity, confidence, ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, curiosity, quick study, accountability, optimism, creativity, good sense of humor and strong team player
- Ability to travel to Foster City 15% of the time, as necessary.
