About the role
- Own the full lifecycle of events—from initial planning and budgeting to execution and post-event reporting.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, contractors, and vendors; negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, senior management, and external advisors to align event objectives and deliver exceptional experiences.
- Organize travel, catering, AV setup, meeting spaces, and off-site activities; attend events to oversee smooth execution.
- Prepare purchase orders, track expenses, reconcile budgets, and report per legal and compliance requirements.
- Develop and update event-related processes; lead rollouts of new tools and applications.
- Oversee and guide junior staff; provide training on functional processes and policies.
- Deliver event metrics and actionable recommendations for future improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum BA degree and 7+ years of experience in events or pharmaceutical sector.
- Proven expertise in event planning and vendor negotiation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities across diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with pharmaceutical industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and lead projects; multilingual skills are a plus.
