About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and integrate Gifted Savings’ core operating functions, ensuring the organization scales with clarity and alignment across programs and compliance.
  • Partner closely with the Executive Director to translate organizational vision into clear operating strategy, priorities, and execution.
  • Lead all aspects of legal, regulatory, and compliance strategy across both nonprofit and financial services–adjacent activities.
  • Build effective systems and processes that support a distributed team.
  • Oversee HR operations, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and team development.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in operations, finance, or general management.
  • Proven leadership at start-up speed and a drive to improve and scale operations.
  • Strong financial leader with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Experience navigating legal, compliance, or regulatory environments (fintech, financial services, nonprofit, or adjacent fields).
  • Builder-operator who can translate big ideas into clear processes, structures, and execution.
  • Comfortable setting direction, diving into details, and doing the work yourself.
  • Data-driven thinker with a test-and-learn mindset, using metrics and dashboards.
