About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage projects end-to-end related to the environment and the mining sector, from planning through delivery.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, engage with clients and stakeholders, and ensure quality, cost control, and schedule adherence.
Contribute to strategic sector development, team leadership, and strengthening business relationships.
Plan, coordinate and supervise the execution of projects in the mining environment.
Ensure project compliance with regulatory requirements and the firm's quality standards.
Lead internal technical teams and external consultants within a multidisciplinary framework. Monitor budgets, schedules, deliverables, and contracts to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
Mentor and develop junior talent through coaching and knowledge transfer.
Actively participate in business development: identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, giving presentations, and client retention. Develop service offerings.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and partners for projects under your responsibility.

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in engineering (environmental, geological, mining, civil, or related).
Licensed member in good standing of a professional engineering association (e.g., OIQ).
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including management of large-scale projects in the mining and environmental sectors.
Strong proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Microsoft Office suite, ERP).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Bilingualism (French and English*) required, both spoken and written.
Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills.
Experience with international projects or with major mining companies.
In-depth knowledge of environmental regulatory frameworks (Canada and/or international).
Experience preparing environmental impact assessments (EIA), closure plans, or environmental audits.
