About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Approve project planning and ensure execution plans are aligned with the intended objectives
  • Lead monthly project progress reviews
  • Maintain documentation and traceability
  • Ensure communications, reporting plans and schedule controls are defined
  • Oversee governance of vendors and subcontractors
  • Enforce deliverable verification and quality requirements prior to any external use
  • Collaborate with the program manager on escalations
  • Promote a culture focused on health and safety, compliance and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, geology, environmental science or a related field
  • Holding (or in the process of obtaining) a Professional Engineer license from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or a geologist license from the Ordre des géologues du Québec (OGQ) will be considered an asset
  • More than 10 years of progressive experience delivering environmental or mining projects
  • Holding an ASP Construction card
  • Ability and willingness to travel to meet clients as required
