About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Approve project planning and ensure execution aligns with requirements (scope, schedule, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications).
- Lead monthly project health reviews to confirm regulatory compliance, schedule adherence, technical progress, risk management, and subcontractor performance; assign corrective actions and ensure documented closure.
- Manage project documentation and traceability: track deliverables, record incoming and outgoing transmittals, and monitor revisions for key documents (plans, analytical data, reports, submissions, meeting minutes, and corrective actions).
- Ensure communication plans, reporting requirements, and deadline control mechanisms are defined during project initiation and planning, and actively monitored throughout the project.
- Oversee supplier and subcontractor governance, including the use of prequalified vendors, review of work plans and procedures, and validation of verification processes in line with deliverable requirements.
- Enforce verification and quality requirements for deliverables prior to external release; ensure technical reviews and management approvals are completed and documented in the project workspace.
- Collaborate with the program manager on issues requiring escalation, decision rights, and alignment with program governance and performance indicators.
- Promote a culture focused on health and safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, where controls are embedded in processes rather than added retrospectively.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated experience leading complex or high-risk projects in highly regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of project governance, quality assurance, verification processes, and document controls.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams as well as vendors and subcontractors.
- Strong planning, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience with tools aligned to PMBOK principles, such as communication and deliverable plans, WBS-based scheduling, and structured project status reviews.
- Experience with integrated data pipelines and dashboards that support compliance and performance visibility.
