About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide delivery leadership and governance for a portfolio of projects within a program.
- Approve project planning and ensure execution aligns with requirements.
- Lead monthly project health reviews.
- Ensure document control and traceability.
- Define and manage communications, approvals, and schedule control.
- Oversee vendor and subcontractor governance.
- Enforce verification and deliverable quality requirements.
- Collaborate with the program manager.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field.
- Holding (or in the process of obtaining) a professional engineer license from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or a geologist license from the Ordre des géologues du Québec (OGQ) is an asset.
- More than 10 years' experience in environmental consulting, including contaminated site remediation, site environmental assessments, report writing, data management and interpretation, project coordination, and client relationship management.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification considered an asset.
- Ability and willingness to travel to meet clients as required.
- Experience with high-volume, recurring programs where standardization and automation are used to improve efficiency.
- Familiarity with analytics dashboards and data management practices that support compliance monitoring and decision-making.
