About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and actively participate in structural modeling using analysis software.
Plan port infrastructure and developments.
Lead and prepare plans and specifications and other technical procurement documents.
Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance of deliverables.
Analyze project input data and assess study requirements.
Lead and perform structural inspections and various marine works.
Assess construction costs and prepare project schedules and timelines.
Prepare technical reports and studies.
Continuously improve the team’s knowledge of maritime and port market trends.
Ensure communication and coordination among internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or structural engineering; a master’s degree in a related discipline is an asset.
At least 5 years of experience in the marine and coastal sector or a related field.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Quebec.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite and structural analysis software (e.g., ADA, SAP2000, etc.).
Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
Hold an ASP construction card.
Strong oral and written French communication skills.
