About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and govern the regional project management practice, driving tangible improvements in project management maturity and the effectiveness of Project Directors (PD) and Project Managers (PM)
Collaborate with the Regional General Manager (RGM) and the Americas PMO lead to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) related to reducing project losses, timely project reviews, and advancing project management maturity
Ensure alignment and clarity for PDs and PMs with the following critical groups: Technical Design Organization (EDO), Project and Construction Management Service, Business Group Leaders (BGL), and Global Delivery Strategy
Provide leadership and oversight for key project management processes, including: management of PD and PM rosters, and performance evaluations in partnership with Business Group Leaders (BGL)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science, or equivalent
More than 15 years of leadership in project and client management within an engineering consultancy
Proven experience delivering projects for environmental or engineering designs across various markets/sectors, including public and private clients
Familiarity with various delivery models (e.g., consultancy assignments, design–build, design–bid–build, and EPCM)
Experience in one or more of GHD’s core markets: Water, Energy & Resources, Environment, Property & Buildings, and Transport
