About the role
- Provide data, telecommunication, fire alarm, security, wireless LAN, acoustic calculations, audio visual systems design
- Provide the engineering to develop the construction documents for the installation of telecommunication and security networks
- Review and establish project scope, electrical budget, design approach, and applicable constraints with the Project Manager or client
- Knowledge of all aspects of BICSI guidelines and NFPA -72
- Able to completely design a Public Address System and audio visual systems
- Prepare feasibility studies and schematic design packages of lighting, power systems
- Communicate and work with all other disciplines to produce coordinated construction documents
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree
- RCDD certification required
- Revit proficiency required
- Security Certification CPP PSP from ASIS or ICAO
- 12+ years of related and progressively more responsible experience
