About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- ProServe allocation - The project focuses on creating an intelligent platform for Itaú based on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, an AWS technology for orchestrating AI agents and automating processes.
- Define and support AWS platform strategies within delivery squads, including: Cloud Foundation, Cloud Platform Engineering, Big Data Stack, AWS account strategy, Landing Zone, CDN, Networking, API Gateway, and Cloud Security.
- Perform provisioning, installation, configuration, and automation of cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Design, build, and scale highly available and resilient infrastructure solutions.
- Develop and promote architectural guardrails and infrastructure best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support technical definitions related to: images and infrastructure standards, backup strategies, configuration management, environment automation, cost management and optimization, user/group/permission management, IAM (Identity and Access Management), monitoring and observability, auditing and compliance, business continuity, Disaster Recovery (DR), High Availability (HA), patch management, billing, taxonomy and tagging/labeling.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong knowledge of core AWS services, including: Amazon EC2, Elastic Load Balancer (ELB), Amazon RDS, Amazon S3, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS IAM (policies, roles, permission boundaries, cross-account), Datadog (APM, logs, dashboards, alerting), Networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Route53), Security (KMS, Secrets Manager, ACM), EKS cluster management, cost management, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with development and deployment in at least one of the following infrastructure domains: AWS infrastructure services, networking, compute, storage, virtualization.
- Experience with automation, scripting and/or development using one or more of the following technologies: Python, Java, AWS CDK, PowerShell, Bash.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable, automated solutions in cloud environments.
- Preferred: Experience with Platform Engineering; ability to communicate in Spanish in technical and business contexts; AWS certifications such as AWS Certified AI Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
