About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise scale data pipelines and architectures.
Build and maintain robust ETL processes, ensure high data availability, and support advanced analytics and business intelligence needs.
Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, product managers, engineering managers, TPMs, and architects to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Guide junior engineers, drive technical innovation, and influence enterprise data strategy.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 8–10 years of professional experience in relevant programming languages.
8–10 years of experience in:
o Data engineering or related fields
o Programming languages relevant to data processing (e.g., Python, Java, Scala, SQL)
o Building scalable ETL pipelines and data architectures
o Working with cloud environments and modern data platforms
o Leading junior team members or acting as a technical lead.
Expert Level: Integration of systems and technologies, Cloud computing architecture, Data architecture.
Proficient Level: Backend architecture, IT standards, procedures, and policies, PTC (Platform Technology Committee) processes, DevOps practices and tools, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), Results interpretation, Communication, collaboration, negotiation, and organizational skills, Problem solving, decision making, and critical thinking.
Competent Level: Information security architecture, Enterprise IT architecture.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
High analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to mentor, guide, and inspire junior engineers.
Strategic thinking with a continuous improvement mindset.
Confidence in decision making and ownership of technical solutions.
English - Excellent verbal and written communication.
