About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Professional specialized in organizing, collecting, and processing (ETL tools) large volumes of data, translating the client's business objectives into an information management and business intelligence strategy.
  • Also responsible for maintaining data pipelines and ensuring secure access to information.
  • May also be involved in creating and exposing metrics (dashboards) based on collected data, thereby ensuring the quality and integrity of that information.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL tools)
  • AWS Cloud: S3, Glue, EMR, Athena, SNS, Lambda, Step Functions, Redshift
  • Data modeling and SQL and NoSQL databases: MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Hadoop
  • Programming languages: Python / PySpark
  • Execution of unit tests and performance tests
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform) and monitoring (CloudWatch)
  • Preferred: AWS Practitioner and AWS Data Engineer certifications
  • Experience with data quality and observability
