About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with the business to understand requirements and propose technical solutions.
  • Develop APIs in .NET / .NET Core with a microservices-based architecture.
  • Build secure, resilient, and scalable applications.
  • Ensure adoption of development best practices and architectural patterns aligned with the Architecture team.
  • Work in agile squads, participating in ceremonies.
  • Gather and fulfill functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Integrate systems and reduce manual workflows through automation.
  • Implement application monitoring and observability.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps, following production deployment processes.
  • Ensure quality through automated testing.
  • Maintain necessary technical documentation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience developing with .NET / .NET Core (APIs).
  • Experience with monolithic, distributed and microservices architectures.
  • ORMs and design patterns.
  • Messaging systems: Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Databases: Relational: PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server; Non-relational: MongoDB.
  • Containers: Docker.
  • CI/CD and version control using Git.
  • Cloud experience (GCP: GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run).
  • Experience with caching solutions.
  • Automated testing (unit and integration tests).
  • APM and observability for troubleshooting and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with secure development principles.
  • Tools and frameworks: .NET, .NET Core, Web API, WCF, Entity Framework, Log4Net.
  • Infrastructure as Code (desirable).
  • Experience supporting and maintaining critical production environments.
