About the role

  • Develop and maintain Java applications and enterprise systems
  • Collaborate with teams to build RESTful APIs using Spring Framework
  • Design and implement microservices architecture
  • Work with Angular for frontend development
  • Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes / OpenShift
  • Utilize CI/CD tools for efficient code deployment
  • Maintain observability and application monitoring

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
  • Strong knowledge of Java 17+ and Spring Framework
  • Experience in building enterprise systems and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with microservices architecture and messaging systems (Kafka)
  • Experience with Angular and frontend development
  • Experience with Oracle databases, SQL and PL/SQL
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes / OpenShift
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Maven / Gradle
  • Good knowledge of Git (branching & merging)
  • Knowledge of observability tools (ELK, Splunk or similar)
  • Experience with TDD / BDD
  • Fluent English in speech and writing (frequent communication with English-speaking clients)
  • Availability to work in a hybrid mode – twice a week from the office
  • Nice to have: DevOps mindset and experience with production support
  • Bash scripting
  • Experience working in large, distributed teams
  • Experience in financial or enterprise-scale projects
