About the role

  • Periodically assess the QA maturity level (processes, tools, roles and governance).
  • Structure and evolve the Software Quality Center, defining the operating model, ceremonies, responsibilities and minimum artifacts.
  • Promote continuous improvements focused on simplicity, efficiency and alignment with business reality.
  • Define and maintain the corporate knowledge repository (processes, strategies, standards, frameworks, best practices and welcome kit).
  • Develop and promote continuous training through a testing academy, mentoring and certifications.
  • Conduct training sessions, courses and workshops to disseminate quality practices and techniques.
  • Evaluate and optimize the use of existing testing and automation tools, prioritizing stabilization, reuse and quick wins.
  • Propose feasible incremental automations, respecting team capacity and avoiding complex or hard-to-maintain solutions.
  • Guide the development of end-to-end automated flows when technically and economically viable.
  • Support the definition of the corporate automation architecture, with standardized frameworks, library reuse, APIs and E2E tests.
  • Support integration with CI/CD pipelines, including parallelism and test execution strategies.
  • Define and maintain the SDLC with Quality policies (Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, acceptance criteria and minimum coverage).
  • Standardize testing processes: functional, API, mobile, regression, exploratory, smoke and UAT.
  • Ensure defect management (triage and fix SLAs, severity, priority, rework and escaped defects).
  • Define, evolve and monitor quality and efficiency indicators (test coverage, defects in production, average validation time, recurrence of failures).
  • Produce clear and concise executive reports for the board and governance forums.
  • Support data-driven decision making.
  • Ensure compliance and auditability by publishing corporate KPIs on process adherence and maturity level.
  • Define and track action plans to advance team maturity, ensuring execution through to resolution.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in QA / Software Quality in complex and regulated environments.
  • Experience in structuring processes, governance and quality metrics.
  • Experience with test automation and CI/CD integration.
  • Ability to act strategically and hands-on.
  • Clear communication skills for interaction with technical teams and executives.
