About the role
- Design efficient schemas for analytical queries, ensuring performance and data integrity;
- Ensure data governance and compliance by implementing frameworks that guarantee quality, integrity, and security;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions;
- Optimize data pipelines to accelerate reporting and integrate diverse sources to generate strategic insights;
- Integrate various services and APIs to assemble comprehensive data solutions;
Requirements
- Advanced English (C1/C2);
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field;
- Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines using Python;
- Advanced SQL expertise (joins, window functions, CTEs, aggregations, query optimization);
- Solid knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling (fact/dimension);
- Experience with multiple data formats (JSON, CSV, Avro, Parquet, XML) and integrating diverse sources (APIs, databases, files, streams);
- Familiarity with data quality practices, lineage, governance, automated testing, and performance monitoring;
- Experience with data discovery and cataloging tools (Amundsen or similar);
- Knowledge of data modeling for reports and dashboards (Power BI or similar);
- Nice-to-have: Experience with Apache Airflow or other orchestration frameworks;
- Knowledge of Apache NiFi or similar ingestion tools;
- Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool);
- Experience deploying and scaling services on Kubernetes;
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server as a Data Warehouse.
