About the role
- Coordination and allocation of appointments for outpatient and inpatient patients
- Telephone and written communication with patients, relatives and referring practices to arrange appointments
- Recording and maintenance of patient data in the hospital information system (HIS) to prepare for treatment
- Monitoring appointment capacity and optimizing utilization while taking medical urgency into account
Requirements
- Completed training as a Healthcare Management Clerk or Medical Assistant (MFA)
- Confident use of modern information and communication systems and, ideally, experience with the hospital information system (HIS)
- Organizational talent and enjoyment in working with people
- Strong communication skills and an open, empathetic approach to our patients and their relatives
