About the role

  • Coordination and allocation of appointments for outpatient and inpatient patients
  • Telephone and written communication with patients, relatives and referring practices to arrange appointments
  • Recording and maintenance of patient data in the hospital information system (HIS) to prepare for treatment
  • Monitoring appointment capacity and optimizing utilization while taking medical urgency into account

Requirements

  • Completed training as a Healthcare Management Clerk or Medical Assistant (MFA)
  • Confident use of modern information and communication systems and, ideally, experience with the hospital information system (HIS)
  • Organizational talent and enjoyment in working with people
  • Strong communication skills and an open, empathetic approach to our patients and their relatives
