About the role

  • Decentralized technical and disciplinary leadership of medical controlling
  • Professional responsibility for coding, MD management, and audits according to LOPS-RL and MD-QK-RL
  • Operational assurance of complete, accurate, and timely medical coding
  • On-time handling of MD and payer inquiries, from data exchange to social procedures
  • Advising the commercial directorate, medical and nursing services on strategic matters

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree (Health Economics, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Medicine) or a medical qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in medical controlling, preferably in a leadership role
  • Completed further training/certification as a coding specialist
  • Solid knowledge of the DRG and PEPP systems, relevant legal regulations, and hospital billing and reimbursement
  • Experience with cgm medico KIS and uhb Amondis
