About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervision of company-based project work
Primary contact for GFN internship host companies
Point of contact for all IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) matters for both our retraining participants and GFN staff in the training centers
Regular assignments as an instructor/lecturer in funded educational/training programs

Requirements

What you’ll need

IHK trainer aptitude certificate (AEVO), an equivalent qualification, or willingness to obtain such certification
Completed qualification as an IT specialist (Application Development) or IT specialist (System Integration), or a degree in IT
Ideally: experience with key IHK topics — final examinations under the new AO 2020 (AP1 and AP2), exam requirements, deadlines, admission criteria, and company project work
Several years of professional experience in IT
Teaching experience in adult education, preferably in funded training programs
Willingness to engage in continuous professional development
