About the role
- Teaching IT courses on the following topics: Ausstattung eines IT-Arbeitsplatzes (Hard- und Software)
- Introduction to networking (network topologies, network components, interconnection devices, protocols, OSI model)
- Server basics, current server and client operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Virtualization, cloud computing
- PowerShell
- IT security (attack vectors, firewalls, DMZ, encryption, VPN, antivirus and remediation)
- Data protection (GDPR) and data security
Requirements
- Experience in adult education, ideally in publicly funded training programs
- IHK Ausbildereignung (trainer qualification) or willingness to obtain it
- Completed IT apprenticeship, degree in computer science, or comparable qualification
- Current vendor certifications advantageous (e.g., Microsoft Azure AZ-104, Linux Essentials/LPIC1)
- Enjoy teaching and possess didactic competence
- Willingness to pursue continuous professional development
