About the role

  • Supervision of practical company project work
  • Point of contact for GFN internship partner companies
  • Contact person for all IHK (German Chamber of Industry and Commerce) topics for both our retraining participants and GFN staff in the training centers
  • Regular assignments as an instructor in funded training programs

Requirements

  • Trainer aptitude certificate from the IHK (AEVO), an equivalent qualification, or willingness to obtain such certification
  • Qualification as an IT Specialist in Application Development or IT Specialist in System Integration, or a degree in IT
  • Ideally, experience with key IHK topics: final examinations according to the new AO 2020 (AP1 and AP2), exam requirements, deadlines, admission criteria, and company project work
  • Several years of professional experience in IT
  • Teaching experience in adult education, preferably in funded training programs
  • Willingness to pursue continuous professional development
