About the role
- IT training covering the learning fields specified in the IHK framework curriculum
- Introduction to network technology (network topologies, network components, connecting devices, protocols, OSI layer model)
- Current server and client operating systems (Windows and/or Linux)
- Automation of administrative processes (PowerShell, Bash)
- Setup and configuration of an IT workstation (hardware and software)
- Virtualization, cloud computing
- IT security (attack vectors, firewalls, DMZ, encryption, VPN)
- Data protection (DSGVO/GDPR) and data security
Requirements
- Teaching experience in adult education, ideally in publicly funded training programs
- Ideally completed vocational training in IT, a degree in IT, or several years of professional experience in the field
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development
- Comfortable working with heterogeneous/diverse learner groups
- IHK trainer aptitude certificate (AEVO) or vendor-specific trainer certifications, or willingness to obtain such proof
