About the role
- IT training covering the following topics: setting up an IT workstation (hardware and software)
- Introduction to network technology (network topologies, network components, networking devices, protocols, OSI layer models)
- Server fundamentals; current server and client operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Virtualization; cloud computing
- PowerShell
- IT security (types of attacks, firewalls, DMZ, encryption, VPN, antivirus and removal)
- Data protection (GDPR) and data security
Requirements
- Teaching experience in adult education (proof required), ideally in publicly funded training programs
- Completed vocational training in IT, a degree in computer science, or an equivalent qualification
- IHK trainer aptitude certificate (AEVO) or willingness to obtain this certification
- Current vendor certifications, e.g., Microsoft Azure (AZ-104) or Linux Essentials
