About the role

  • IT training on the following core topics: IT workstation setup (hardware and software)
  • Introduction to networking (network topologies, network components, interconnection devices, protocols, OSI layer model)
  • Server fundamentals; current server and client operating systems (Windows, Linux)
  • PowerShell
  • Virtualization, cloud computing
  • IT security (attack types, firewalls, DMZ, encryption, VPN, antivirus and removal)
  • Data protection (GDPR) and data security

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT, a degree in computer science, or a comparable qualification
  • Teaching experience in adult education (proof required), ideally in publicly funded training programs
  • Trainer aptitude certification from the IHK (AEVO), or willingness to obtain this certification
  • Current vendor certifications, e.g., Microsoft Azure (AZ-104) or Linux Essentials
  • Willingness to pursue regular continuing education
