About the role
- IT training covering the following topics: equipping an IT workstation (hardware and software)
- Introduction to networking (network topologies, network components, connecting devices, protocols, OSI layer models)
- Server fundamentals and current server and client operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Virtualization and cloud computing
- PowerShell
- IT security (types of attacks, firewalls, DMZ, encryption, VPN, antivirus and malware removal)
- Data protection (GDPR) and data security
Requirements
- Completed IT apprenticeship, degree in computer science, or equivalent qualification
- Pedagogical-didactic suitability (train-the-trainer certification, e.g., Ausbildereignung IHK) or willingness to obtain it
- Teaching experience in adult education (proof required), ideally in publicly funded training programs
- Current vendor certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure AZ-104, Linux Essentials)
- Passion for teaching, didactic competence, and very good German language skills
