About the role

  • Introduction to network technology (network topologies, network components, interconnection devices, protocols, OSI layer models)
  • Server fundamentals; current server and client operating systems (Windows, Linux)
  • Setting up an IT workstation (hardware and software)
  • Virtualization, cloud computing
  • PowerShell
  • IT security (types of attacks, firewalls, DMZ, encryption, VPN, antivirus and remediation)
  • Data protection (GDPR) and data security

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT, a degree in computer science, or an equivalent qualification
  • Vocational instructor aptitude certificate (IHK AEVO), or willingness to obtain this qualification
  • Current vendor certifications, e.g., Microsoft Azure (AZ-104) or Linux Essentials
  • You enjoy teaching and are pedagogically and didactically competent
  • Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
