About the role

  • IT training covering the following topics: Introduction to networking (network topologies, network components, connecting devices, protocols, OSI layer model)
  • Server fundamentals, current server and client operating systems (Windows, Linux)
  • Setting up an IT workstation (hardware and software)
  • Virtualization, cloud computing
  • PowerShell
  • Data protection (GDPR) and data security
  • IT security (types of attacks, firewalls, DMZ, encryption, VPN, antivirus and remediation)

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT or a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
  • Instructor aptitude certificate from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AEVO), or willingness to obtain this certification
  • Current vendor certifications, e.g. Microsoft Azure (AZ-104) or Linux Essentials
  • Enjoy teaching and be pedagogically and didactically competent
  • Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
