About the role

  • Architect and build a scalable data warehouse/lakehouse environment on cloud infrastructure
  • Restructure and optimize database schemas for analytical efficiency and BI tool integration
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Establish data quality monitoring, validation, and governance frameworks
  • Maintain clear documentation, data dictionaries, and lineage tracking
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards tracking key business metrics (engagement, retention, CAC, LTV, operational efficiency)
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses into patient behavior, subscription patterns, and engagement drivers
  • Create segmentation models to identify high-value cohorts and at-risk populations
  • Design and analyze A/B tests to evaluate product and marketing performance
  • Build predictive models for patient engagement, retention, and churn forecasting
  • Support AI/RAG initiatives by preparing training datasets and evaluation pipelines
  • Develop operational models to enhance efficiency across clinical and business workflows
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate data-driven intelligence into platform features
  • Partner with engineering on API integrations and scalable infrastructure
  • Work closely with product, operations, and clinical teams to define success metrics and instrument analytics
  • Enable self-service analytics through modern BI platforms and stakeholder training
  • Uphold HIPAA compliance and best practices for PHI data handling

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or data engineering
  • Expert-level SQL skills, including schema design and query optimization
  • Strong proficiency in Python for analysis, scripting, and model development
  • Proven experience building or managing cloud-based data warehouses/lakehouses
  • Familiarity with modern BI tools and visualization platforms
  • Solid understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, workflow orchestration, and data quality processes
  • Deep statistical foundation and experience designing experiments
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into measurable data solutions
  • Experience with product and customer analytics
  • Strong communication skills—able to make data meaningful for non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-starter mindset with comfort operating independently and building systems from the ground up
  • Experience in healthcare or healthtech environments is a bonus
  • Knowledge of FHIR standards or healthcare data models is a bonus
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and secure data handling is a bonus
  • Exposure to ML frameworks (classification, regression, time-series, RAG) is a bonus
  • Cloud certifications or real-time analytics experience is a bonus
