About the role
- Marketing and sales of complex services for energy-intensive companies
- Sale of energy from renewable and conventional sources
- Point of contact for the direct marketing of electricity from customer-owned generation assets
- Identifying and acquiring new electricity and natural gas customers
- Managing existing key accounts
- Developing proposals from initial inquiry and presentation through contract negotiation to signature
- Providing in-depth advice to customers on energy-related and market issues
- Participating in existing sales projects and contributing to the development of new products
- Monitoring and analyzing market developments and competition
- Attending trade fairs and industry conferences
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, business administration or a related field
- Extensive sales experience in the energy sector, preferably with heavy industry and large commercial clients
- Performance-driven, self-directed working style within a sales team
- Strong customer focus, confident client handling, and excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Very good command of MS Office and Outlook
- Business-fluent English; additional language skills are desirable
