About the role

  • Marketing and sales of complex services for energy-intensive companies
  • Sale of energy from renewable and conventional sources
  • Point of contact for the direct marketing of electricity from customer-owned generation assets
  • Identifying and acquiring new electricity and natural gas customers
  • Managing existing key accounts
  • Developing proposals from initial inquiry and presentation through contract negotiation to signature
  • Providing in-depth advice to customers on energy-related and market issues
  • Participating in existing sales projects and contributing to the development of new products
  • Monitoring and analyzing market developments and competition
  • Attending trade fairs and industry conferences

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, business administration or a related field
  • Extensive sales experience in the energy sector, preferably with heavy industry and large commercial clients
  • Performance-driven, self-directed working style within a sales team
  • Strong customer focus, confident client handling, and excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Very good command of MS Office and Outlook
  • Business-fluent English; additional language skills are desirable
